Brewgooder is a new social enterprise set up by the guys behind social bite in collaboration with Brewdog and charity partners such as Oxfam, Mercy Corps and Water Aid. Their aim is to provide clean drinking water to over 1,000,000 people by donating all the profits of their craft lager to clean water projects.
Over the last 6-8 weeks a small team of Realisers built and designed the campaign site pushing people through to the Indiegogo fundraising site. They are aiming to raise £50,000 for the first run of their new lager aptly named the Clean Water Lager. In the space of two days they have already raised over £23k and their first batch of their new lager at the launch sold out within two hours.
The guys have already made Social Bite a great success and there is a fair bit of media buzz around their new project. Even the BBC has picked up on the entrepreneurial duo’s activities.
