Calling it a 'youth segmentation survey' isnt really selling it, so we'd love you to check out our new Tribes experience for Channel 4. Youngsters can find out if they are a Hipster, Townie, Emo or Rah. Playing the simple quiz game reveals their tribal DNA. Numbers are growing fast – so far over 6,100 people have been Tribed.
The site supports a long-running research project (commissioned by Channel 4, carried out by Crowd.DNA) with the brief to segment youth in terms that would make sense both to them and the media and marketing industry.
We'll put a full case study up on the site soon, but for now we've learned one surprising fact - our Creative Director Dave Ward is only 13% Hipster, despite living in North London and working in Farringdon.
